Vince Gilligan has a new hit on his hands with his Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul.
In case you missed it …
Better Call Saul premiered on AMC on February 8, 2015. This one-hour drama created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould is a prequel that was spun-off of Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad.
This scripted TV series focuses on a small-time lawyer James McGill (before he became Saul) played brilliantly by Bob Odenkirk. The pilot episode takes place seven years before his appearance on Breaking Bad.
The debut episode set the record for the highest-rated scripted series premier in basic cable history, with 4.4 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic, and 6.9 million viewers overall.
This show is so deserving of its success!
For me it has filled the void that was created after watching the final episode of Breaking Bad. I know it will do the same for you if you were a fan of Breaking Bad. The quality of the writing is stellar and Bob Odenkirk’s portrayal of this character is spot on!
Don’t just trust my opinion — check it out for yourself. You’ve only missed 3 episodes so it will be easy to catch up.
